FITZROY WAREHOUSE

Recontextualising the past

The design combines two separate dwellings in a three-storey historic Fitzroy warehouse to create a single-family home.

We recycled much of the demolished building fabric into wall linings and joinery. Recontextualising elements of the building fabric allowed us to maintain links to the building's heritage, a billiard table manufacturer.
